Tier 1
Local Sovereign Storage
Audience: Individuals, remote professionals, boutique businesses.
Description: Complete procurement, secure setup, and local deployment of a standalone, preconfigured local-network data storage appliance. Configurations are customized to your needs and preference.
Technical Framework: Standard Synology hardware platform. Security hardening involves disabling default ports, enforcing strict HTTPS, setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and configuring local data snapshots.
Tier 2
The "Trusted Circle" P2P Network
Audience: Privacy-first individuals / businesses requiring offsite disaster redundancy without corporate cloud subscriptions.
Description: Linking two or more trusted local nodes into an encrypted, offsite backup ring over a secure mesh network. This privacy first approach ensures that sensitive data remains under the control of the owner(s) at all times.
Technical Framework: Uses a Tailscale (WireGuard-based) Mesh VPN tunnel to securely link separate physical locations. Leverages Synology Hyper Backup to compress and encrypt data client-side before transmitting it to an isolated Hyper Backup Vault container on the target peer node. Data remains 100% blind and invisible to the peer hosting it.
Tier 3
Autonomous Grid-Down Redundancy (Future Roadmap)
Audience: Emergency command centers, luxury off-grid bunker builds, and critical infrastructure operators.
Description: Total data access and transmission continuity during regional power grid or primary ISP internet failures. This will require significant customization and consultation and ongoing maintenance to ensure reliability under diverse failure scenarios. It can provide the beacon of connectivity when all other means have failed.
Technical Framework: Implementation of Multi-WAN Failover Routers that automatically shift data routing from primary fiber/cable to a secondary satellite, tertiary cellular, or emergency radio packet matrix when primary infrastructure fails.
